SUBJECT: Cancellation of the Regular City Commission Meeting for Tuesday,
September 7, 2010
MEETING DATE: August 23, 2010
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Approve cancelling the Regular City Commission Meeting for
Tuesday, September 7, 2010 due to the Labor Day Holiday.
BACKGROUND: At the August 2, 2010 Commission Meeting during FYI, the majority of the
Commission agreed that the City Commission Meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 should
be cancelled due to the Labor Day Holiday on September 6, 2010. The Holiday falls on Monday
which moves the meeting day to the following Tuesday night. This has been added to the
Consent Agenda to formally approve the cancellation.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
