In August, 2009 the City Commission created the BTBID Board to manage the newly created

Initial terms on the Board were staggered. The first term expiration took place on July 31, 2010.
After initial terms, members are appointed for four years. Board appointees must either be a
property owner within the District or the duly authorized designee of an owner of property
within the District. Both the reapplying applicant and new applicant have been verified for this
requirement.
The Bozeman Tourism Business Improvement District Board of Trustees currently has one
expired term and a reapplying and new applicant.
