BACKGROUND: This County Council has a vacancy for a City Commissioner or their designee. Former City Commissioner Eric Bryson served in this capacity in the past. After inquiring, it was determined that none of the Commissioners have expressed interest in serving on this board. Therefore staff would recommend Staff Attorney, Susan Wordal as her expertise in this field should serve the Council well. The Gallatin County Mental Health Local Advisory Council was created in 2009. The purpose of the LAC is to assist in the improvement of public mental health services in the local community and to review and make recommendations to MHOAC and the SAA serving the community. The Gallatin County Commission shall appoint no more than 21 members to the LAC representing a variety of stakeholders.
