RE: City of Bozeman Charter Amendments for the 2010 General Election
Dear Charlotte:
As you know, the city of Bozeman is required by the Bozeman City Charter to present to the
city's voters at this fall's general election amendments to the Charter allowing voters to decide
whether to increase the number of city commissioners. The Bozeman City Charter and Montana
law requires the specific ballot language to be adopted by the Bozeman City Commission
through adoption of an ordinance. As such, I have attached to this letter Ordinance 1788
adopting ballot language for this fall's general election.
Z
Please place the language included in Section I of Ordinance 1788 on the November 2, 201
general election ballot for city voters.
Please direct all invoices for costs of this referendum to the Bozeman City Clerk, Stacy Ulmen,
at P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59715-1230.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
g Sullivan
City Attorney
