WHEREAS, the Social Security Administration, Denver Region,
serves the citizens of the state of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota,
South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming; and
WHEREAS, 195 thousand citizens of the state of Montana receive
cash benefits administered by the Social Security Administration; and
WHER the Social Security Administration employs 121
employees in the state of Montana; and
WHEREAS, the Social Security Administration is actively planning
for and addressing the challenges of an impending employee retirement
wave through an aggressive succession management program; and
WHEREAS, the Social Security Administration Denver Region is
hosting its fifth annual Professional Enrichment and Acquisition of
Knowledge Conference focusing on succession management and
development in Bozeman., Montana on June 10 11, 2010; and
WHEREAS, said conference is hosted in collaboration with its Equal
Employment Opportunity advisory groups: the American Indian Alaska
Native Advisory Council, Black Affairs Advisory Council, Denver Region
Council for Employees with Disabilities, Hispanic Affairs Advisory
Council, Pacific Asian American Advisory Council and Women's Affairs
Advisory Council.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Jeffrey K. Krauss, Mayor of the City of
Bozeman in the County of Gallatin, Montana by virtue of the authority
vested in me, do hereby officially proclaim, June 10, 2010 to be known
as;
"Professional Enrichment and Acquisition o f Knowledge Day."
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 1 have hereunto set my hand and caused the
official seal of the City of Bozeman in the County of Gallatin to be affixe
this 26th day of May, 2010.
