HomeMy WebLinkAboutParking Resolution PC2010-03, Restricting Usage of BBOZEMAN PARKING COMMISSION A RESOLUTION OF THE BOZEMAN PARKING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, RESTRICTING USAGE OF BRIDGER PARK DOWNTOWN TO PARKING ONLY. WHEREAS, pursuant to city Resolution 3803, the Parking Commission has jurisdiction over three parking districts: the downtown B-3 Zoning District, the Montana State University Residential Parking District, and the Bozeman High School Residential Parking District; and WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman, Montana, has authorized the management of Bridger Park Downtown, the city-owned parking structure, to the Parking Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Parking Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, creates this policy for usage of Bridger Park Downtown: Due to zoning, emergency egress, and structural integrity concerns, the Parking Commission will not authorize the use of Bridger Park Downtown for any purpose other than vehicle parking. Any requests for uses other than the building's original purpose will be denied." PASSED and adopted by the Parking Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, on first reading at a session held on the fifth day of May, 2010.
