May 5, 2010
Our meeting on May 5 will consist of 2 parts. We will have a social lunch at the Senior
Center at 12 noon. Bozeman Senior Advisory Board members will be expected, you need
not call and make a reservation, lunch will cost $3.25 for those over age 60 and $6 for those
age 60 and under. A menu may be
found at http://www.montanaseniorcenter.org/bozeman/BZNSCHome.html
This is the regular noon Senior Center lunch and is open to any members of the public,
however, anyone planning to attend and eat lunch needs to call the Senior Center at 586-
2421 and make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance.
There will be no business conducted. The purpose of this lunch together is to have a social
briefing by Senior Center staff regarding the many and varied programs which it provides
to Seniors in the Bozeman Community. This meeting is for informational purposes only,
the Bozeman City Senior Advisory Board has no administrative role in the Senior Center
operation.
Our regular May 5th meeting will begin at 1:15pm in the Senior Center Board room. This
meeting is open to the public as is usually the case when we meet in the City Office
Building.
This second and official portion of the May 5 meeting will have an agenda as
follows:
Meeting opens at 1:15 pm
Old Business (priorities for 2010)
This will likely involve discussion of information gathered thus far on the "Senior Issues
Survey"(copy of survey attached)
We anticipate distributing this survey to those members of the public having lunch at the
Senior Center on May 5.
It will likely be used on several following occasions to obtain a larger input sample of
Bozeman Seniors.
Further deliberation will be conducted at future Senior Advisory Board Meetings. It is
not anticipated that any action will be taken at this meeting.
