HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-05-10 Senior Citizens' Advisory Board Agenda Senior Citizens’ Advisory Board Lunch and Agenda May 5, 2010 Our meeting on May 5 will consist of 2 parts. We will have a social lunch at the Senior Center at 12 noon. Bozeman Senior Advisory Board members will be expected, you need not call and make a reservation, lunch will cost $3.25 for those over age 60 and $6 for those age 60 and under. A menu may be found at http://www.montanaseniorcenter.org/bozeman/BZNSCHome.html This is the regular noon Senior Center lunch and is open to any members of the public, however, anyone planning to attend and eat lunch needs to call the Senior Center at 586- 2421 and make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance. There will be no business conducted. The purpose of this lunch together is to have a social briefing by Senior Center staff regarding the many and varied programs which it provides to Seniors in the Bozeman Community. This meeting is for informational purposes only, the Bozeman City Senior Advisory Board has no administrative role in the Senior Center operation. Our regular May 5th meeting will begin at 1:15pm in the Senior Center Board room. This meeting is open to the public as is usually the case when we meet in the City Office Building. This second and official portion of the May 5 meeting will have an agenda as follows: Meeting opens at 1:15 pm Old Business (priorities for 2010) This will likely involve discussion of information gathered thus far on the "Senior Issues Survey"(copy of survey attached) We anticipate distributing this survey to those members of the public having lunch at the Senior Center on May 5. It will likely be used on several following occasions to obtain a larger input sample of Bozeman Seniors. Further deliberation will be conducted at future Senior Advisory Board Meetings. It is not anticipated that any action will be taken at this meeting. New Business Public Comment Adjourn 2:15 pm. This will be a fairly tight schedule and public input will be limited.
