SUBJECT: Re-appointment to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee

RECOMMENDATION: Re-appoint one member to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee
BACKGROUND: On December 31, 2009 one term on the Impact Fee Advisory Committee
expired. There are also six ongoing vacancies. The member with an expired term has re-
applied, no other applications have been received. This Committee lacks a quorum at this time.
The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine
members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be
the City Engineer;
the City Finance Director;
a certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment;
1 builder;
1 land developer;
2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and
2 other members as selected by the City Commission.
As terms expire, each new appointment shall be for a term of two years. A majority of members
must be residents of the City of Bozeman. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the
City Commission.
This board currently has six vacancies and one expired term with one re-applying
applicant.
