This board meets on the second Wednesday of each month at noon in the second floor conference room in the Stiff Building at 20 East Olive Street.
This board has a vacancy for a city of Bozeman appointee. Under an Interlocal Agreement dated February 6, 1990 and signed by the State of Montana Department of Transportation, the
Bozeman City-County Planning Board, the City of Bozeman, and Gallatin County, the Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Committee is identified "as a sounding board for proposals advanced to
the Transportation Coordinating Committee."
The structure of the Committee is somewhat revised under this Interlocal Agreement, with its members being appointed by the City Commission and the County Commission, "from a cross section
of the study area's economic and social classes in accordance with the appropriate section of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964." The Committee is advisory, and members are appointed
to staggered two-year terms.
