This board meets the second Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. in the City Commission room, City Hall, 121 N. Rouse.
On November 27, 2006, the City of Bozeman adopted the U.S. Mayors' Climate Protection Agreement committing to reduce the City's greenhouse gas emissions to 15 percent below 2000 levels
by 2020. On August 3, 2008 Bozeman accepted the City's first Municipal Climate Action Plan, establishing the goal to reduce emissions 15 percent below 2000 levels by 2020. The Plan includes
a set of 40 recommendations focused on reducing emissions in municipal buildings, vehicle fleet and waste. Appointments to the task force were made October 19, 2009 and November 2,
2009.
The City appointed the Community Climate Task Force to create recommendations for a Community Climate Action Plan (CAP). The Community CAP will examine emissions in the Residential,
Commercial, Transportation and Waste Sectors.
