Comments:
An onsite meeting was held at Meadow Creek Subdivision to review
punchlist items regarding the Phase I Park Master Plan. The purpose was
to bring new ownership up to speed with requirements and see what work
was still needed.
Attending: Thom White (City Staff), Sandy Dodge (RPAB), Dave Skelton
(City Planning), Kurt Thompson (Project Engineer), Jim Powell (Developer)
Questions arose regarding who is responsible for repairing damage done
by Qwest in installing phone lines. Ultimately Qwest is responsible but the
question is if it is up to the City or the developer to pressure them to
comply. Dave felt certain the city has no responsibility.
Lerner Park
Problems still exist with the grading at a storm water retention pond
o
where the native grass has not taken hold and weeds are a problem.
Regrading and/or reseeding is required.
The turf grass is developing nicely in the active recreation area.
o
The Park Master Plan document has still not been published reflecting
o
those changes that exist and were approved by RPAB.
Ainsworth Park
Developer was not aware that the park plan called for a natural,
o
native grass, passive park. He has been mowing the native grass,
which has no irrigation; in hopes it would develop into an active play
area.
