MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION BOZEMAN, MONTANA July 1, 1993 ***************************** 0 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session in the Conference Room, .uniciPal Building, July 1, 1993, at 7:00 p.m. Present were Mayor Swanson, Commissioner Frost, Commissioner Knapp, Commissioner Vincent and City Manager Wysocki. Commissioner Stiff was absent. Authorize absence of Commissioner Stiff from meetina. in comDliance with Section 7-3-4322(2), M.C.A. It was moved by Commissioner Frost, seconded by Commissioner Knapp, that the Commission authorize the absence of Commissioner Stiff from this meeting, in compliance with Section 7-3-4322(2), Montana Code Annotated. The motion carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Frost, Commissioner Knapp, Commissioner Vincent and Mayor Swanson; those voting No, none. .SigninQ of Notice of Soecial Meeting Each of the Commissioners in turn signed the Notice of Special Meeting. Work session - Citv Manager's recommendations for budget for fiscal Year 1993-1994 This is the third is a series of work sessions on the City Manager's recommendations for the budget for Fiscal Year 1993-1994. Since this is a work session, the minutes are very abbreviated. " City Manager Wysocki and Administrative Services Director Gamradt reviewed the Special Revenue Fund, Debt Service Fund, Enterprise Fund, Internal Service Fund, and Trust and Agency Fund sections of the City Manager's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 1993-1994, as well .s the Appendix, which cover from Page 124 through Page 274 of the document. Following that review, in which the City Manager and Administrative Services Director responded to questions from the Commissioners, the Administrative Services Director distributed copies of changes which the Commission may wish to make to the budget, as a result of the page- by-page review of the City Manager's recommendations. The Commissioners briefly discussed the 0 07-01-93 SPECIAL ~. --" - ~ . - 2 - listed changes, concurring that they would consider the City Manager's recommendations as the Tentative Appropriation Ordinance, then read the list of proposed changes into the record at the beginning of the public hearing, scheduled for July 26, and accept comment on those proposed changes as well as the basic document during the public hearing. Following that public hearing, _nd prior to adoption of the final appropriation ordinance, the Commission will then determine what changes are to be made. Adiournment - 9:39 D.m. There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Knapp, seconded by Commissioner Vincent, that the meeting be adjourned.
