COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 4213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, ASSESSING A $1 PER ROOM NIGHT FEE FOR OVERNIGHT
STAYS AT LODGING FACILITIES LOCATED IN THE BOZEMAN TOURISM
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (TBID.)
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman created the Bozeman
Tourism Business Improvement District, pursuant to the provisions of Title 7, Chpt 12,
Part 11, MCA, for the purpose of aiding tourism, promotion, and marketing within the
district; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman did, on the 19th day
of October 2009, following notice and public hearing, approved the work plan and budget
for the Bozeman Tourism Business Improvement District; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
Section 1
Beginning November 1, 2009, every lodging facility included within the boundaries of
the Bozeman Tourism Business Improvement District that provides ten (10) or more
rooms for temporary overnight accommodations, lodging, dwelling, or sleeping facilities
for transient guests, and hostels, shall assess a $1.00 per room night fee for overnight
stays.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana
at a regular session thereof held on the 19 day of October 2009.
