BACKGROUND: TheCitypreparesamendmentstoTitle18,UnifiedDevelopment Ordinancefromtimetotimeasneeded.The2009Legislativesessionmadeseveralchangesto statesubdivisionandzoninglawwhichneedtobereflectedinlocalordinances.Severalchanges havealsobeenidentifiedeitherasfollow-upactionsfromtherecentlyadoptedgrowthpolicyor asitemsdirectedbytheCityCommission. Thedraftamendmentslistedbelowarenowinthepublicprocessandwillbecomingtothe rd CommissiononNovember23forconsideration.TheZoningCommissionandPlanningBoard rd completedtheirreviewandrecommendationonNovember 3.Theirminutesandsupporting rd informationwillbeprovidedtoyouwiththepacketforyourNovember23publichearing. Primarysectionsbeingconsideredforrevisionare: Section18.02.040 ,RevisethepurposesoftheUnifiedDevelopmentOrdinancetoconformto changesinstatelawbythe2009Legislatureandreorganizingthetext.
