: Award of the FY 2009 – 2010 snow removal contract for City-owned
Bridger Park Downtown

RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the City Manager to sign the contract with Greenspace
Landscaping, Inc., for snow removal services for fiscal year 2009 – 2010. The contract amount is
$125 per snow event.
The areas to be cleared are the city’s responsibilities from the Black Avenue entrance of Bridger
Park Downtown south to the alley, the sidewalk entrance on Tracy Avenue, the sidewalk in front
of the Streamline bus waiting area and the north stair tower, and the sidewalk in front of the
Mendenhall entrance.
BACKGROUND:
The city contracts for snow removal services for our city owned facilities.
The contract is a one-year contract. Once the contract is awarded, the service provider will
secure the required bonds and receive their notice to proceed.
FISCAL EFFECTS:
The Parking Department budgeted $17,105 for snow removal around
Bridger Park Downtown.
ALTERNATIVES:
As suggested by the City Commission.
