ORDINANCE NO. 1344
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT
DESIGNATION FROM
AN "M-1" (COMM ERCIAL--LIGHT
MANUFACTURING) TO "R-3A" (RESIDENTIAL, TWO-FAMILY, MEDIUM
DENSITY) ON PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS BLOCK 51 AND BLOCK 52 OF
THE NORTHERN PACIFIC ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MORE
COMMONL Y REFERRED TO AS THE TWO-BLOCK AREA LYING BETWEEN
PLUM AND IDA AVENUES AND BETWEEN FRIDLEY AND PEACH
STREETS.
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map change has been properly submitted, reviewed
and advertised in accordance with the procedures of the provisionally adopted Bozeman
zoning ordinance, dated August 19, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the City-County Planning Board held a public hearing on February 19,
1992, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map
change; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing on March 2, 1992, to receive
and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map change; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve zone
change criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M.C.A., and found the proposed zone map
change to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has found that the proposed zone map change
would bring the zoning of the property into compliance with the Bozeman Area Master Plan
and would be in the public interest.
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
That the zoning district designation of the following-described property shall be and
is hereby changed from an "M-1" (Commercial--Light Manufacturing) to an "R-3A"
(Residential, Two-Family, Medium-Density) District:
Block 51 and Block 52 of the Northern Pacific Addition to the City of
Bozeman, more commonly referred to as the two.block area lying between
Plum and Ida Avenues and Between Fridley and Peach Streets.
