About Global Electric Motorcars
Global Electric Motorcars (GEM), a DaimlerChrysler company, has been in operation for
almost ten years. Located in Fargo, North Dakota, GEM manufactured its first vehicle in
April 1998, a 48-volt GEM vehicle that accommodated two passengers and had a top
speed of 20 mph. Less than two months later, a significant breakthrough occurred in the
market as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) designated a
new class of motor vehicle, the low-speed vehicle, also known as the Neighborhood
Electric Vehicle (NEV). The low-speed vehicle class allowed GEM vehicles to be driven
on public roads if they met certain safety criteria such as having safety belts,
headlamps, windshield wipers, and safety glass. GEM vehicles always come equipped
With these safety features making them a benchmark in the industry.
GEM battery-electric vehicles not only represent a relatively new vehicle in an emerging
market segment, but also a new and growing brand within the DaimlerChrysler family.
Just like Mercedes, Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep®, or many of the other well-established
brands in the company's portfolio, GEM stands for innovation and leadership.
GEM aims to establish its brand presence both as the maker of the top-selling NEV in
the market and the purveyor of one of the smartest solutions to traffic congestion and air
quality problems yet to be introduced. The solution: zero-emissions personal
transportation that is well integrated with traditional alternative transportation choices
such as mass transit and carpooling.
GEM vehicles are sophisticated yet simple. They represent a new kind of personal
transportation that expands the capacity to have fun. They represent a versatile and
efficient way to get the job done, as well as a clean way to do everyday work. GEM

Gem e6 is in a class of its own. What makes the GEM e6 so unique is that an optional
°S" Package can be added to provide extra cargo-carrying capability and a driving range

About e-ride
e-ride Industries was born out of humble beginnings as a custom golf car manufacturer
called Classic Golf Car Company Inc. Classic Golf Car Company, founded in 1990 by
John Herou, strove to provide its customers with the very best product on the market.
Our golf cars were completely hand built with the finest parts and care in mind. Our
customers were from all walks of life and all around the world. Classic golf cars are still
regarded as one of the finest golf cars ever produced.
Through our experience in providing custom vehicles and listening to our wide array of
customers, the vision for a-ride Industries' electric vehicles came to light when the
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA),created a new class of motor
vehicle called the Low Speed Vehicle (a.k.a. the Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) in
1998. John had learned through the years that most of his customers weren't using the
Classics on the golf course, but around the neighborhood. With the new vehicle
classification and feedback from his customers, John began designs for the first
prototype. In the spring of 2003, after 4 years of research and development, the first
prototype was built.
e-ride Industries builds a neighborhood electric vehicle that is perfect for short
commutes. The vehicles were designed to fit the residential home owner. Typical
owners use the vehicle to go to the store, golf course, market or any other local
community destination. This neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV) is virtually
maintenance free and costs the consumer only one and a half cents per mile to operate,
making our e-ride's much more efficient for residential use than,any full-size gas
powered vehicle, not to mention helping the pollution problem. The typical commute for
most Americans is less than 50 miles a day, making Neighborhood electric vehicles a
viable solution for many people. Not to mention a fun way to get around!
e-ride Industries' vehicles are built to be tough. The exv2 can be equipped with, a wide
array of options to make the perfect utility vehicle. Some of the options include diamond
plate tool boxes, aluminum stake sides, and a full length topper. The exv2 has a
payload capacity of 10001b and can make tough projects easy to handle. The exv4 is
also great for transporting individuals and materials from one local to another. Both the
exv2 and exv4 can be equipped to the users needs to ensure the perfect on site vehicle.
e-ride Industries prides itself on providing the best product and support for our
customers so they spend more time getting the job done. Currently, a-ride electric
vehicles are used in campus settings, golf courses, airports, military bases, industrial
parks, motorsports facilities, fire departments, and many other industrial/commercial
settings.

Tiger Truck has been delivering a series of light utility trucks and vans for offroad use
since 1999. All Tiger vehicles meet the stringent GARB/EPA standards and are
available powered by a variety of fuels, electric motor or Hybrid combinations and
include standard shift or automatic transmissions.
Tiger has the largest available array of truck body options for niche applications.
Primary distribution in the U.S. is through a select dealership network. These vehicles

Electric Tiger E Bus
Do you have a lot of people to move around? Tiger now offers a very economical
and environmentally-friendly all-electric vehicle that can carry up to 14 passengers.
With the standard 5.5 Kw motor and 48V battery pack (16 Trojan T145 6-volt
batteries), the E-Bus has a 60 mile range per charge. With a 25% gradabiiity, there
aren't too many places the E-Bus won't take you. Standard features include AS1
windshield, 4 speed manual transmission, horn, side rear view mirrors, headlights,
brake lights and turn signals. At a starting price of $18,900, you can't go wrong
with the E-Bus.

About Smart
The refreshingly new smart electric vehicle — or smart ev, as we call it. It's the natural
product of smart's unswerving commitment to the environment and innovation — not to
mention fun. It isn't available to buy just yet, but it isn't a million miles off.
Powered solely by electricity, and chargeable from any three-pin socket, the smart ev
can achieve the equivalent of 300 mpg — that amounts to a saving of up to 80% in fuel
costs over the already highly economical fortwo. The ev can travel up to 72 miles
between charges, which typically take around 8 hours for a full charge --- ideal for
charging at work between your morning and evening commutes. If your journey takes
you into the capital, you will find free electricity provided,by some London boroughs, as
well as free or discounted parking. With a top-up charge during the day, the smart ev's
daily range weights in at 100 miles.
We're running a market trial with selected blue chip companies who are happy to meet
our requirements to power the cars using only renewable energy sources. Among the
partners already enrolled in the trial are The Energy Saving Trust, Islington and
Coventry Councils, Lloyds Pharmacy, the CarbonNeutral Company, EDF Energy & BT.
Expect the full complement of Mercedes-Benz safety features and a top speed of 70
mph courtesy of a powerful Zytek electric motor. Once it's up to speed (0-30 mph in 6.5
seconds) the ev uses its tiny weight gain to deliver an exciting and stable drive.

About American Electric
The American Electric Vehicle Company (AEVCO) was created on the idea that the
American consumer is ready for fresh thinking. Not a gradual series of tweaking and
fine-tuning, but blank-sheet-of-paper, toss-out-all-the assumptions bold-faced
innovation. We set out to build an alternative vehicle that was practical yet stylish,
efficient yet fun. So, unlike other companies who turned to the golf cart for inspiration,
we turned to the European micro car.
The first incarnation of the Kurrent appeared at the Torino Auto Show in 2002. It was a
concept car back then, developed by Maurizio Tomaselli, a mechanical engineer who
spent more than 30 years designing an array of vehicles.
It wasn't until two years later that the second generation of Kurrent appeared. It was an
open air model, developed from motorcycle design, intended to be powered by a
combustion engine. This type of vehicle -- a micro car — adhered to the specs of a
quadra cycle — a popular form of transportation in Europe.
Tomaselli saw a need for an electric vehicle, however, one that was street legal on the
congested downtown streets in major European cities. Thus, the third generation
Kurrent was developed.
It's this incarnation of the vehicle that inspired the creation of AEVCO. By combining
Italian design with American engineering, we are creating the first neighborhood electric
vehicle that not only turns corners, but also turns heads.
The first Kurrent was assembled on January 2, 2007, at a factory in Ferndale, Michigan.
From a concept at Torino to a reality in the US, Kurrent is poised to take a leadership
position in the NV market.

Whether you're more concerned about global warming or about national security,
there's one thing we can probably agree on: our dependence on oil is dangerous and
costly.'
Right now 58% of our oil comes from other countries, so it's practically inevitable our
foreign policy principles will be held ransom by our need to maintain domestic economic
stability. When you consider that 68% of our oil is used for transportation, we believe
gasoline-free cars are an ideal solution to these issues. Even a hybrid car, which still
burns gasoline and emits carbon dioxide, doesn't solve our oil-related problems, it just

Historically, it seemed to us that electric cars had been designed by people who thought

Electric cars have had terrible range and embarrassing styling. To those who say
electric cars have been tried and failed we say, of course electric cars won't catch on if
no one actually wants to drive them.
We needed to change perceptions of electric vehicles in a big way. To make electric
cars a viable alternative, we set out to build one that was gorgeous and thrilling to drive.
Our first car, the Tesla Roadster, isn't a plan, pipedream or prototype; this car exists
and is for sale now. It's a no-compromise driver's car that can accelerate faster than a
Porsche 911 and hit a top speed of nearly twice what the law permits. With a range of
more than 200 miles on a single charge, you can use it all day long and not worry you'll

run out of juice. Just plug it in at night the same way you drop your cell phone into its
charger, and sleep well, without guilt.
While the Tesla Roadster's sticker price is in a league with other high-performance
sports cars with similar specs, we recognize it's out of reach for a lot of people. We
consciously chose to develop a high-end sports car as our first car in order to develop
the "performance DNA" from which we could create other electric vehicles. Our next
model will leverage the Tesla Roadster`s technology, resulting in a less expensive

Battery Performance:
• Lead-Acid: This technology is over 100 years old. Lead acid batteries were the
power source of General Motors' EV1. These batteries have poor lifetime
characteristics, which lead to an economically unfeasible total cost of ownership
when periodic battery replacements are considered. Lead-acid batteries are
available from numerous manufacturers located in almost every industrialized
nation.
• Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH): The predominant NiMH manufacturers are (in
order) Panasonic, Sanyo and Cobasys. NiMH batteries are the foundation of the
Toyota Prius and Honda Insight hybrid electric vehicles. These batteries are
intolerant of full-charge and discharge cycles, which make electric vehicle usage
inappropriate. Toyota demonstrated this with the RAV4-EV, their NiMH-powered
production electric vehicle. Toyota manufactured approximately 800 RAV4 EVs
through 2002 and could not demonstrate the NiMH battery was suitable for
electric vehicle purposes.
• Lithium-Ion: This battery is ubiquitous in consumer electronics (cell phones,
laptop computers, iPods). The International Electrotechnique Commission
(Geneva) and the United Nations (Brussels) have passed international
regulatory standards about the safety of lithium-ion batteries, Battery pack
systems larger than the average consumer electronics device have been ruled
as a fire and safety hazard. This is because the fundamental chemistry of the
lithium-ion battery allows for an uncontrolled thermal runaway, which can result
in a fire or explosion; this was recently demonstrated by lithium-ion batteries in
Dell and Apple Macintosh laptop computers.

electric LSV's in the fall of 1999, and produced the first Sedan model in April of 2001.
The market for electric LSV's was validated in 1998 when the U.S. National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) created a new class of motor vehicle, the LSV.
Currently, 35 states have passed legislation accepting the NHTSA ruling on LSV's,
allowing vehicles to be driven on roads with a 35 mph (60 kph) or less posted speed
limit. LSV's have a maximum allowable speed of 25 mph (40 kph). To qualify as a LSV,

NHTSA requires the vehicle to be equipped with an automotive safety windshield, turn
signals, mirrors, wiper blade, head and tail lights, and seatbelts.
The IT line of electric vehicles are distinctive because of their innovative styling and
advanced engineering design. Optional packages including an enclosed driver
compartment, heat and de-mist will address market needs well beyond the scope of
existing products.
The Dynasty project has evolved as a result of the vision of a "team" of experienced
