AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING THE BOZEMAN
ZONE MAP'S
ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATIONS FROM AN "A-S" (AGRICUlTURAl--
SUBURBAN) DISTRICT TO "R-3" (RESIDENTIAl--MEDIUM DENSITY),
"R-1" (RESIDENTIAl--SINGlE-FAMll Y), "B-1"
(NEIGHBORHOOD--
SERVICE) AND "M-1" (COMMERCIAl--lIGHT MANUFACTURING) ON A
PORTION OF CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY NOS. 1353 AND
1353B
lOCATED IN SECTION 31, TOWNSHIP 1 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST,
MONT ANA PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
GAllATIN COUNTY, MONTANA AND MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE BRIDGER CREEK ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map amendments have been properly submitted,
reviewed and advertised in accordance with the procedures of the provisionally adopted
Bozeman zoning ordinance, dated August 19, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the City-County Planning Board held a public hearing on December 1,
1992, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map
amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City-County Planning Board recommended to the Bozeman City
Commission that the requested zone map amendments be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission held a public hearing on December 21, 1992, to
receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map
amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve zone
change criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M.C.A., and found the proposed zone map
amendments to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has found that the proposed zone map
amendments would be in compliance with the Bozeman Area Master Plan and will be in the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That the zoning district designation of the following-described property is hereby
amended from an "A-S" (Agricultural--Suburban) District to "R-3" (Residential--Medium-
Density) District:

Montana Principal Meridian, Gallatin County, Montana, and being further
described as follows:
Parcel 1: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section 31, Township 1
South, Range 6 East, M.P.M., thence along the East line of said Section
