ORDINANCE NO. 1404
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN,
MONT ANA, PROVIDING THA T THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL
CODE BE AMENDED
BY REVISING SECTION 10.32.180 AND BY ADDING
A NEW SECTION TO BE
NUMBERED AS SECTION 10.32.185 TO SAID CODE;
PROVIDING FOR THE
CREA TION
OF 'HANDICAP BUS LOADING/UNLOADING ZONES' UNDER
CERTAIN CONDITIONS, AND PROVIDING FOR PENAL
TIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF
SAID PROVISION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That Section 10.32.180 of the Bozeman Municipal
Code be amended so that such section
shall read as follows:
"10.32.180 Fire lanes-.Establishment--Parkina
restrictions.
A.
The fire chief of the city is authorized to designate. layout and establish fire
lanes of not to exceed twenty feet in width over and across public and private
property for access by fire equipment to buildings within and to post no parking
signs thereon.
B.
Parking of motor vehicles within a designated and posted fire lane is prohibited
and motor vehicles in such fire lanes shall be subject to removal therefrom at the
owner's expense.

Section 2
That the Bozeman Municipal Code be amended by
adding a section to be numbered as
Section 10.32.185, to read as follows:

Section 3
Repealer.
All resolutions, ordinances and sections of
the Bozeman Municipal Code and parts thereof
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4
Severability.
If any provisions of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or

circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions of this ordinance
which may be given effect without the invalid provision or application and, to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 5
Savings Provision.
This ordinance does not affect the rights or
duties that matured, penalties and
assessments that were incurred or proceedings that begun before the effective date of this
ordinance.
Section 6
Effective Date.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty (30) days after final adoption on
second reading.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, on first reading at a
regular session thereof held on the 17th day of July 1995.
