ORDINANCE NO. 1506
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1421, FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE
CITY COMMISSIONERS AND MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2.04.070 OF THE BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL
CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, that
Section 1
The salaries of the City Commissioners and the Mayor of the City of Bozeman be
established as follows: for each month, the sum of $<100.00 ~$:~U::2Hlo. for each Commissioner. The

salary of the Commissioner acting as Mayor shall be one and one-half (1 %) times that of the other
Commissioners, or the sum of $800.00 :IS:UJ:~OO.

Section 2
In the event of an unexcused absence from a Commission meeting by a Commissioner,
the sum of $1 OO.OOlmQpUlg: shall be deducted from the monthly pay; and for an unexcused
absence by the Mayor from a Commission meeting, the sum of $1 60.00 :1]ii;~fM:~Q1 shall be deducted
from the monthly pay.
Section 3
Effective Date
These salaries shall be effective July 1, 1999.
Section 4
Repealer
All resolutions, ordinances and sections of the Bozeman Municipal Code and parts thereof
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5
Severability
If any provisions of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or
circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions of this ordinance
which may be given effect without the invalid provision or application and, to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, on first reading at a
regular session thereof held on the 20th day of December 1999.
