HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 01- 1550 Amends zoning map, Stone Ridge .------ - ORDINANCE NO. 1550 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, AMENDING THE BOZEMAN ZONE MAP'S ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATIONS BY AMENDING THE ZONING DESIGNATION FROM "R-2a" (RESIDENTIAL..SINGLE-FAMIL Y, MEDIUM.DENSITY DISTRICT) TO "R-Q" (RESIDENTIAL--OFFICE DISTRICT) ON 15.20 ACRES LOCATED IN THE E% OF NE%OF SE%OF SECTION 2, T2S, R5E, PMM, GALLATIN COUNTY, MONTANA. WHEREAS, the proposed zone map amendment from IR.2a", ResidentialnSingle.family, Medium.density District, to "R.Q", ResidentialnOffice District, has been properly submitted, reviewed and advertised; and WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman's Zoning Commission held a public hearing on July 3, 2001, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map amendment; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission recommended to the Bozeman City Commission that the zone map amendment be approved; and WHEREAS, after proper notice, the City Commission held its public hearing on July 16, 2001, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve zone change criteria established in Section 76.2.304, M.C.A., and found the proposed zone map amendment to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and WHEREAS, at its meeting held on July 16, 2001, the City Commission found that the proposed zone map amendment would be in compliance with the Bozeman Area Master Plan and would be in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana: Section 1 That the zoning district designation of the following.described property is hereby amended from IIR.2a", ResidentialnSingle.family, Medium.density District, to "R.Q", ResidentialnOffice: A tract of land in Section 2, Township 2 South, Range 5 East, PMM, City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana, more specifically described as follows: -.-.-..----....-...-- ---.- .---. -- Commencing at the southeast corner of said Section 2. Thence N060 16'18"W a distance of 1,104.40 to the true point of beginning, Thence S88042'08"W, a distance of 346.87', Thence N01 o06'23"W, a distance of 147.36', Thence N07025'59"W, a distance of 229.13', Thence N 110 18'27"W, a distance of 348.36', Thence N08038'12"W, a distance of 281.09', Thence N10046'53''W, a distance of 364.53', Thence N09040'47"W, a distance of 169.77', Thence on an arc to the right with a radius of 1032.50', arc length of 114.22', a chord bearing of N86024'34"E, and a chord length of 114.16', Thence N83014'26"E, a distance of 167.83', Thence on an arc to the right with a radius of 967.50', arc length of 107.02', a chord bearing of N86024'34"E, and a chord length of 1 06.97', Thence N89034'43"E, a distance of 149.06' Thence S01051'21"E, a distance of 1,547.14' TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said parcel containing 15.20 acres. Section 2 The effective date is thirty days after final adoption of this ordinance on second reading.
