A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER'S SIGNATURE ON
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2009-04 TERMINATING THE DECLARATION OF
EMERGENCY, AND TERMINATING THE DECLARATION OF AN EMERGENCY
FOR THE CITY OF BOZEMAN PURSUANT TO MCA X10-3-402.
WHEREAS, the City Commission on Monday, March 9, 2009 declared a local
emergency for the City of Bozeman due to the explosion which occurred on the north side of the
200 block of East Main Street and ratified the City Manager's declaration made on March 5,
2009; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission's emergency declaration was issued through
Commission Resolution No. 4153; and,
WHEREAS, the emergency declaration would remain in place until terminated by a
separate Administrative Order and Resolution;
WHEREAS, the emergency has abated;
WHEREAS, the principal Executive Officer of the City of Bozeman terminated the
declaration of emergency defined in Administrative Order No. 2009-01 issued on March 5, 2009,
through Administrative Order No. 2009-04 on June 1, 2009; and
WHEREAS, copies of this Administrative Order were filed with the City Clerk and the
Montana Disaster and Emergency Services Division in Helena, Montana;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, that it herby terminates the declaration of emergency as set out in
Resolution No. 4153, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana that it herby approves and ratifies the City Manager's signature on Administrative
Order No. 2009-04, terminating a Declaration of Emergency for the City of Bozeman.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 22°d day of June, 2009
