(Yes/No) No. (If so, where, what board, and how long?) Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests, and experiences. I am seeking to serve my community with my experience in psychiatry and addictionology. I hope to assist the board regulate legislation related to safe alcohol use by providing the latest medical research related to alcohol. My interest in alcohol regulation originates from the population that I treat daily. Alcohol abuse is very closely linked to mental illness – a majority of my patients have struggled with alcohol related disorders or have encountered legal problems related to alcohol. I believe that education for business owners, law enforcement and citizens is paramount to keep our city a safer community. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta as well as a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville where I specialized in psychiatric and mental health nursing. I am currently employed as a nurse practitioner at the Gallatin Mental Health Center where I treat severe and persistent mental illness as well as addiction. Please do not hesitate to contact with me for more information about my experience or education. I have included my resume along with my application. I appreciate your consideration for this board seat. References (Individual or Organization) Please include name and phone for three references.
