ORDINANCE NO. 1596
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AMENDING THE CITY OF BOZEMAN ZONE MAP ZONING
DESIGNATION FROM "R-O" (RESIDENTIAL OFFICE DISTRICT) TO "B-1"
(NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT) ON FOUR LOTS AND AMENDING
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN ZONE MAP ZONING DESIGNATION FROM "B-1"
(NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT) TO "R-O" (RESIDENTIAL OFFICE
DISTRICT) ON THREE LOTS, ALL LOCATED IN STONERIDGE P .U.D.
SUBDIVISION, PHASES 2A AND 2B, BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the proposed zone map amendment to amend the zoning designations of
"R-O", (Residential Office District) and "B-1" (Neighborhood Service District) on ten specified
subdivided lots within StoneRidge P.U.D. Subdivision, Phases 2A and 2B, has been properly
submitted, reviewed and advertised; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman Zoning Commission held a public hearing on November
6, 2002, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone map
amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman Zoning Commission recommended to the Bozeman
City Commission that the zone map amendment be approved as follows: the zoning designation
of Lot 8, Phase 2A, be amended from "R-O", (Residential Office District) to "B-1" (Neighborhood
Service District); the zoning designation of Lots 21 and 22, Phase 2B, be amended from be "R-O",
(Residential Office District) to "B-1" (Neighborhood Service District); and the zoning designation
of Lots 2,3, and 4, Phase 2A, be amended from "B-1" (Neighborhood Service District) to "R-O",
(Residential Office District); and
WHEREAS, after proper notice, the City Commission held its public hearing on
November 18, 2002, to receive and review all written and oral testimony on the request for a zone
map amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has reviewed and considered the twelve zone change
criteria established in Section 76-2-304, M.C.A., and found the proposed zone map amendment,
as recommended by the Zoning Commission, to be in compliance with the twelve criteria; and

WHEREAS, at its meeting held on November 18, 2002, the City Commission found that
the proposed zone map amendment would be in compliance with the Bozeman 2020 Community
Plan and would be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana:
Section 1
That the zoning district designation of the following-described property is hereby
amended from "R-O", (Residential Office District) to "B-1" (Neighborhood Service District):
Lot 8, StoneRidge P.U.D. Subdivision, Phase 2A
Section 2
That the zoning district designation of the following-described property is hereby
amended from "R-O", (Residential Office District) to "B-1" (Neighborhood Service District):
Lots 16, 21, and 22, StoneRidge P.U.D. Subdivision, Phase 2B
Section 3
That the zoning district designation of the following-described property is hereby
amended from "B-1" (Neighborhood Service District) to "R-O", (Residential Office District):
Lots 2, 3, and 4, StoneRidge P.U.D. Subdivision, Phase 2A
Section 4
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after final adoption.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana on first reading at
a regular session thereof held on the 12th day of May 2003.
