SUBJECT: Acknowledge and Approve receipt of a Street Vacation Request from
Christopher Gonzales to vacate a portion of O’Connell Drive
MEETING DATE: April 6, 2009
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge and Approve receipt of a Street Vacation Request from
Christopher Gonzales to vacate a portion of O’Connell Drive and direct the request to staff for
review.
BACKGROUND: According to Section III B. of the City’s Rules of Procedure for Change of Street
Name or Discontinuance, Abandonment or Vacation of Street or Alleys, the City Clerk (Clerk of
Commission), upon receipt of the petition, will place the item on the Consent Agenda acknowledging
receipt and directing that the petition be forwarded to Staff for review. The application for street/alley
vacation was received on March 19th by the Engineering Office.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
