A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, APPROVING AND RATIFYING THE CITY MANAGER'S
SIGNATURE ON ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2009-01, AND DECLARING
A LOCAL EMERGENCY FOR THE CITY OF BOZEMAN PURSUANT TO MCA
§10-3-402
WHEREAS, an explosion has occurred on the north side of the 200 block of East
Main Street on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 8:15 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, on Thursday, March"5, 2009, the City Manager as principal executive
officer of the City of Bozeman, issued Administrative Order No. 2009-01, declaring a
local emergency for the City of Bozeman pursuant to MCA § 10-3-402 and declared that
all provisions of the City Emergency Operations Plan are in effect, to include all
applicable provisions of the interjurisdiction plan with Gallatin County, and further, that
standard rules pertaining to procurement of goods and services are hereby suspended
until terminated by separate Administrative Order; and
WHEREAS, copies of the Administrative Order were filed with the City Clerk
(referred to as Clerk of Commission) and the Montana Disaster and Emergency Services
Division in Helena, Montana;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana that a local emergency is hereby declared pursuant to Section 10-3-
402 MCA and all provisions of the City Emergency Operations Plan are in effect; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana ,that it hereby approves and ratifies the City Manager's Signature on
Administrative Order No. 2009-01, Declaring a Local Emergency for the City of
Bozeman Pursuant to MCA § 10-3-402.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, at a regular session thereof held on the 9th day of March 2009.
