HomeMy WebLinkAboutGreek Way Apartments Site Plan Commission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Brian Krueger, Associate Planner SUBJECT: Greek Way Apartments Site Plan, #Z-07270 MEETING DATE: Originally scheduled for decision February 11, 2008; opened and continued by the Commission until February 25, 2008. RECOMMENDATION: That the City Commission open and continue the application until March 17, 2008 as requested by the applicant. BACKGROUND: The property owner, SAAM Real Estate, Inc. and their representative Prugh and Lenon Architects, P.C. have submitted a site plan application for Lots 4 & 5 of the Greek Way Subdivision, also known as 1811 Greek Way, to allow the construction of 27 residential dwellings (6 fourplex units, one duplex unit, and one manager’s dwelling unit), a community building, and related site improvements. Both the Development Review Committee (DRC) and staff recommend conditional approval of this application with the conditions and code provisions outlined in the staff report. On February 11, 2008 the Commission requested that the applicant submit additional information to supplement the application. The Commission opened and continued the application until February 25, 2008. At this time, the applicant’s have requested that the project be opened and continued until March 17. 2008 to allow additional time for information gathering. UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None. FISCAL EFFECTS: Fiscal impacts are undetermined at this time. ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
