SUBJECT: Zoning Commission (Re)Appointment
MEETING DATE: March 17, 2008
RECOMMENDATION: (Re)appoint one member to the Zoning Commission.
BACKGROUND: On January 28, 2008, the City Commission (re)appointed one member to the
Zoning Commission but left one vacancy unfilled. Therefore, there is currently one vacancy.
The Zoning Commission is created under Resolution No. 3312 to establish procedures for the
administration of the municipal zoning ordinance within the City limits.
This Commission shall consist of five members appointed by the City Commission, and they
shall serve staggered two-year terms.
Any person of legal age may be appointed, but all members must be City residents.
This board currently has one vacancy and two applicants.
