ADDRESS: 3250 Linney Road PROJECT: Bozeman, MT 59718 CONTRACT FOR: 2008 Lamme Water Main Replacement Project You are notified that your Bid opened on July 16, 2008, for the above Contract has been considered. You are the apparent Successful Bidder and have been awarded a Contract for the: 2008 Lamme Water Main Replacement Project. The Contract Price of your Contract is: Five Hundred Eighty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Five Dollars ($ 588,845.00). Five (5) copies of each of the proposed Contract Documents (except Drawings) accompany this Notice of Award. Three (3) sets of the Drawings will be delivered separately or otherwise made available to you immediately. You must comply with the following conditions precedent within fifteen (15) days of the date of this Notice of Award, that is, by ~(iZ~o$ 1. You must deliver to the OWNER Five (5) fully executed counterparts of the Agreement including all the Contract Documents and Drawings. You must deliver with the executed Agreement the Contract Security (Bonds) as specified in the Instruction to Bidders (Article 20), and the General Conditions (paragraph S.pl). List other conditions precedent: You must deliver with the executed Agreement the Certificates of Insurance as specified in the General Conditions (Article 5) and Supplementary Conditions (paragraphs SC-5.04 and SC-5.06). Failure to comply with these conditions within the time specified will entitle OWNER to consider your Bid abandoned, to annul this Notice of Award, and to declare your Bid Security forfeited. Within ten (10) days after you comply with these conditions, OWNER will return to you two fully signed counterpart of the Agreement with the Contract Documents attached. BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy, of the Notice of Award for the above referenced project. This project includes the replacement of the water main in Lamme from Grand to Tracy, and from Black to Church. This main is being replaced because it has experienced a high number of breaks over the past few years. Bids for the above-referenced project were opened on July 16, 2007 with 4 bids being submitted. The low bid was submitted by Omdahl Excavation & Utilities, Inc in the amount of $588,845.00. The Bid Tabulation for the project is attached. The project is currently funded in the water fund in the current fiscal year at $1,000,000.00.
