A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, SETTING THE TIME AND DAY OF THE
POLICY MEETINGS OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1727 was adopted on the 26`" day of November 2007, setting
the policy meetings of the City Commission from 12:30 p.m.-2 p.m. on the second and fourth
Thursday of the manth to provide an informal setting fnr discussion of policy issues for which no
formal action is immediately required; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No, 1737 was adopted on the 28`}' day of January 2008, amending
Ordinance No. 1727, stating that the Commission may periodically hold policy meetings and that the
frequency, time, and location of such will be determined by the Commission as set forth in
resolution; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting held on the 14`" day of January 2008, the Commissioners
expressed a desire to establish the time for its policy meetings from noon-1:30 p.m. and to establish
the meetings days as the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting held on the 12t" day of May 2008 the Commissioners
expressed a desire to re-establish a new time and day for its policy meetings; and
WHEREAS, at its policy meeting held on the 14t" day of May 2008 the Commissioners
expressed a desire to establish the time for its policy meeting from noon-1:30 p.m, and to establish
the meeting day as the first Thursday of each month.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
That the time for the policy meeting of the City Commission will be on the first Thursday of each
month from noon-1;30 p.rn. to provide an informal setting far discussion of policy issues for which
no formal action is immediately required.
This new start time and day shall be effective June 5, 2008.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at
a regular session thereof held on the 19`" day of May 2008.
