BSF made effort to find resources and power to organize and execute a steady plan of preparation (mowing grass, trail improvement) and snow grooming. That of course would not be possible without the support from Cemetery's Board and City Parks and Recreation Department. This land, as we understand, will not be used by the Cemetery for the next 50 -75 years. BSF would like to improve this land as public area for recreation, running, hiking, biking, and skiing. We suggest following improvements: - Plant bushes and trees on both sides of the roads - trails. - Build a few up hills and down hills. Those hills will be built only on the trails, 6m wide and 7 - 15% grade. These improvements will help us to have better and more challenging trails. - Rest of the field should be grassed and mowed couple times a year. After the period of 50 - 75 years BSF will take down hills and leave the field in its original configuration. Funding This project will be founded trough donations, excavating business, BSF and other volunteers' labor.
