COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2482
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN
AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 644 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER MAIN, STORM DRAIN
AND APPURTENANCES, AND PAVING TO SERVE THE AD30INING PROPER-
TIES AND MORE SPECIFTCALLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: SIX (6)
INCH WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES AND SERVICE STUBS TO THE
PROPERTY LINES AND STORM DRAIN PIPING, AND PAVING WITH AN
ASPHALT CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT, INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND
GUTTERS AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ALL ON SWEET STREET AND
ANDERSON DRIVE IN GRAP'S FIRST SUBDIVISION, SECOND FILING,
IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN, STORM
DRAIN AND PAVING TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACK-
FILL, BEDDING MATERI'AL, STORM DRAINAGE PIPE, SERVICE LINE
STUBS, PAVING WITH INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS' AND GUTTERS, AND
OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.
WHEREAS, at a regular s:ession of the City Commission of the city of
Bozeman, held on the 27th day of June 1983, the said City COImnission duly
passed Commission Resolution No. 2465, declaring it to be the intention of
the said City Commission to create a special improvement district to be
known and designated as Special rmprovement District No. 644 to the said
City, for the purpose of construction and installation of a water main, storm
drain and appurtenances and said Commis:sJon Resolution No. 2465 is hereby
referred to and made a part hereof for further particulars in respect to the
boundaries of said Special Improvement District No. 644, that the estimated
cost of said improvements and method of assessing the same against the proper-
ty of said districts; and
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said Commission Resolution No. 2465
was duly mailed to record owners of real property within the District and
published in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, all according to the laws of the
State of Montana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN:
section 1
That the said Special Improvement District No. 644 of the City of
Bozeman be, and the same is hereby created for the purpose of making improve-
ments as in said Commission Resolution No. 2465 and hereinafter described.
Section 2
That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby ordered
to be made in said Special Improvement District No. 644 as follows:
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER
MAIN, STORM DRAINS AND APPURTENANCES, AND PAVING TO SERVE
THE ADJOINING PROPERTIES AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS: A SIX (6) INCH WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES AND
SERVICE STUBS TO THE PROPERTY LINES AND STORM DRAIN PIPING,
AND PAVING WITH AN ASPHALT CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT, INTEGRAL
CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ALL
ON SWEET STREET AND ANDERSON DRIVE IN GRAF'S FIRST SUBDIVISION,
SECOND FILING, IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.

THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN, STORM
DRAIN AND PAVING TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACK-
FILL, BEDDING MATERIAL, DUCTILE IRON WATER MAIN, VALVES,
FITTINGS, HYDRANTS, STORM DRAINAGE PIPE, SERVICE LINE STUBS,
PAVING WITH INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND OTHER
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.

Sect.;ion 3
That the entire cost and expense of mainta.;i:.ning the improvements herein
referred to in said Special Improvement District No. 644, shall be assessed
against the entire district. Each lot, block, tract or parcel of land within
the district will be assessed for that portion of the whole cost which its area
bears to the area of the entire district exclusive of streets, avenues, and
public places. The total number of feet of ass'es's'able footage wi thin the
district is 208,641.26 square feet and :is the area on which all assessments
will be calculated.
section 4
That any and all construction dtstricts with.;tn the same boundaries and
serving the same area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City commission of the City of Bozeman, at
a regular session held thereof on the 6th day of September 1983.

and number in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in said City, in the issue dated the 11th day of September
1983, and due proof of such publication is on file in my office.
