COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2481
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRI'CT TO BE KNOWN
AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 643 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER MAIN, STORM DRAIN
AND APPURTENANCES, AND PAVING TO SERVE THE ADJOINING PROPER-
TIES AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: A SIX (6)
INCH WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES AND SERV:r:CE STUBS TO THE
PROPERTY LINES AND STORM DRAIN PIPING, AND PAVING WITH AN
ASPHALT CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT, INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND
GUTTERS AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ALL em O'CONNELL AND
ANDERSON DRIVES IN GRAF'S FIRST SUBDIVISION, SECOND FILING,
IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.

THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN, STORM
DRAIN AND PAVING TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACK-
FILL, BEDDING MATERIAL, DUCTILE TRON WATER MAIN, VALVES,
FITTINGS, HYDRANTS, STORM DRAINAGE PIPE, SERVICE LINE STUBS,
PAVING WITH INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND OTHER
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.
WHEREAS, at a regular session of the c;i:ty Commission of th.e City of
Bozeman, held on the 27th day of June 1983, th.e said City Commission duly
passed Commission Resolution No. 2464, declaring it to be the intention of
the said City Commission to create a special improvement district to be
known and designated as Special Improvement District No. 643 to the said
city, for the purpose of construction and installation of a water main, storm
drain and other appurtenances, and said Commission Resolution No. 2464 is
hereby referred to and made a part hereof for further particulars in respect
to the boundaries of said Special Improvement District No. 643, that the
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said conunission Resolution No. 2198

estimated cost of said improvements and method of assessing the same against
the property of said district; and
was duly mailed to record owners of real property within the District and
published in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, all according to the laws of the
State of Montana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That the said Special Improvement District No. 643 of th.e City of
Bozeman be, and the same is h.ereby created for the purpose of making improve-
ments as in said Commission Resolution No. 2464 and hereinafter described.
Section 2
That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby ordered
to be made in said Special Improvement District No. 643 as followS:
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER
MAIN, STORM DRAIN AND APPURTENANCES, AND PAVING TO SERVE
THE ADJOINING PROPERTIES AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS: A SIX (6) INCH WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES AND
SERVICE STUBS TO THE PROPERTY LINES AND STORM DRAIN PIPING,
AND PAVING WITH AN ASPHALT CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT, INTEGRAL
CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ALL
ON O'CONNELL AND ANDERSON DRIVES IN GRAF'S FIRST SUBDIVISION,
SECOND FILING, IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.

THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN, STORM
DRAIN AND PAVING TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACK-

FITTINGS, HYDRANTS, STORM DRAINAGE PIPE, SERVICE LINES
STUBS, PAVING WITH INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND
OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.

Section 3
That the entire cost and expense of maintaining the improvements herein
referred to in said Special Improvement District No. 643, shall be assessed
against the entire district. Each lot, block, tract or parcel of land within
the district will be assessed for that porti.on of the whole cost which its
area bears to the area of the ent.tre distrtctexclus'.i:ve of streets, avenues
and public places. The total number ot feet of assessable footage within the
district is 9,890.15 square feet and :t.s the area en which all assessments will
be calculated.
Section 4
That any and all construction districts within the same boundaries and
serving the same area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City commission of the City of Bozeman, at
a regular session held thereof on the 6th day of September 1983.

printed and published in said City, in the issue dated the 11th day of September
1983, and due proof of such publication is on file in my office.
