COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2480
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE
KNOWN AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 642 FOR THE PUR-
POSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER MAIN,
STORM DRAIN AND APPURTENANCES, AND PAVING TO SERVE THE AD-
JOINING PROPERTIES AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS: A SIX (6) INCH WATER MAIN AND APPURTENANCES ON
KENYON DRIVE AND SERVICE STUBS TO THE PROPERTY LINES AND
STORM DRAIN PIPING, AND PAVING WITH AN ASPHALT CONCRETE
TYPE PAVEMENT, INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS AND
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ALL IN GRAFts FIRST SUBDIVISION,
SECOND FILING, IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN, STORM
DRAIN AND PAVING TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACK-
FILL, BEDDING MATERIAL, DUCTILE IRON W1\TER MAIN, VALVES,
FITTINGS, HYDRANTS, STORM DRAINAGE PIPE, SERvr'CE LINE STUBS,
PAVING WITH INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND OTHER
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.
WHEREAS, at a regular sess,ion of the City Connn:j:.ssion of the City of
Bozeman, held on the 27th day of June 1983, the sa:j:.d city Commiss:j:.on duly
passed Connnission Resolution No. 2463, declaring it to be the intention of
the said City Corrunission to create a special improvement district to be
known and designated as Special Improvement District NO. 642 to the said City,
for the purpose of construction and installation of a water main, storm
drain and paving and said Commission Resolution NO. 2463 is hereby referred
to and made a part hereof for further particulars in respect to the boundaries
of said Special Improvement Distr:j:.ct No. 642, that the estimated cost of said
improvements and method of assessing the same against the property of said
district; and
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of s:aid conunission Resolution No. 2463
was duly advertised by the Clerk of the City Commission according to the laws
of the State of Montana and notice was mailed to all record owners of the
real property within the district according to the laws of the State of Montana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN;
Section 1
That the said Special Improvement District No. 642 of the City of
Bozeman be, and the same is hereby created for the purpose of making improve-
ments as in said Commission Resolution No. 2463 and hereinafter described.
Section 2
That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby ordered
to be made in said Special Improvement District No. 642 as follows:
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A
WATER MAIN, STORM DRAIN AND APPURTENANCES, AND PAVING
TO SERVE THE ADJOINI'NG PROPERTIES AND MORE SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: A SIX (6) INCH WATER MAIN AND
APPURTENANCES ON KENYON DRIVE AND SERVICE STUBS TO THE
PROPERTY LINES AND STORM DRAIN PIPING, AND PAVING WITH
AN ASPHALT CONCRETE TYPE PAVEMENT, INTEGRAL CONCRETE
CURBS AND GUTTERS AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ALL IN
GRAF'S FIRST SUBDIVISION, SECOND FILING, IN THE CI'TY' OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA.

THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN, STORM
DRAIN AND PAVING TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACK-
FILL, BEDDING MATERIAL, DUCTILE IRON WATER MAIN, VALVES,
FITTINGS, HYDRANTS, STORM DRAINAGE PIPE, SERVICE LINE STUBS,
PAVING WITH INTEGRAL CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS, AND OTHER
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.

Section 3
That the entire cost and expense of ma;tntain.j.ng the improvements herein
referred to in said Special Improvement District No. 642, Shall be assessed
against the entire district. Each lot, block, tract or parcel of land within
the district will be assessed for that portion of the whole cost which its area
bears to the area of the entire district exclusive of streets, avenues, and
public places. The total number of feet of a~s:essable footage within the dis-
trict is 146,112.06 square feet and is the area on which all assessments will
be calculated.
Section 4
That any and all construction districts within the same boundaries and
serving the same area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, at a
regular session held thereof on the 6th day of September 1983.
