COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2479
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, CREATING A SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE
KNOWN AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 641 FOR THE PUR-
POSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A. SANITARY SEWER
AND APPURTENANCES TO SERVE THE A.DJ'OINI'NG PROPERTIES AND
MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: AN EI'GHT (8) INCH
SANITARY SEWER, MANHOLES AND SERVICE STUBS TO THE PROPERTY
LINE, AND NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ON KENYON DRIVE, ANDER~
SON DRIVE AND O'CONNELL DRIVE, ALL IN GRAF'S FIRST SUBDIVI-
SION, SECOND FILING, IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.

THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE SANITARY SEWER
TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL, BEDDING
MATERIAL, SANITARY SEWER LINES, MANHOLES, SERVICE LINE
STUBS, AND OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENA.NCES.
WHEREAS, at a regular session of the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, held on the 27th day of June 1983, the said City Commission duly
passed Commission Resolution No. 2462, declaring it to be the intention of
the said City Commission to create a special improvement district to be
known and designated as Special Improvement District 641, for the purpose
of construction and installation of a sanitary sewer and appurtenances, and
said Commission Resolution No. 2462 is hereby referred to and made a part
hereof for further particulars in respect to the boundaries of said Special
Improvement District No. 641, that the estimated cost of said improvements
and method of assessing the same against the property of said district; and
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said conun;i.ssion Resolution No. 2462

was duly advertised by the Clerk of the C;i.ty COJllm;i:.ssion according to the laws
of the State of Montana and notice was mailed to all record owners of the
real property within the District according to the laws of the State of
Montana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN:
section 1
That the said Special Improvement District No. 641 of the City of
Bozeman be, and the same is hereby created for the purpose of making improve-
ments as in said Commission Resolution No. 2462 and hereinafter described.
Section 2
That said special improvements be, and the same are, hereby ordered
to be made in said Special Improvement District No. 641 as follows:
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF
A SANITARY SEWER AND APPURTENANCES TO SERVE THE AD-
JOINING PROPERTIES AND MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS: AN EIGHT (8) INCH SANITARY SEWER, MAN-
HOLES AND SERVICE STUBS TO THE PROPERTY LINE, AND
NECESSARY APPURTENANCES, ON KENYON DRIVE, ANDERSON
DRIVE AND O'CONNELL DRIVE, ALL IN GRAF'S FIRST SUB-
DIVISION, SECOND FILING, IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA.

THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF THE SANITARY SEWER
TO INCLUDE ALL TRENCH EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL, BEDDING
MATERIAL, SANITARY SEWER LINES, MANHOLES, SERVICE LINE
STUBS, AND OTHER NECESSARY APPURTENANCES.
Section 3
I
That the entire cost and expense of ma~ntain~ng the improvements herein
referred to in said Special Improvement District No. 641, shall be assessed
against the entire district. Each lot, block, tract or parcel of land within
the district will be assessed for that portion of the whole cost which its area
bears to the area of the entire district exclusive of streets, avenues and
public places. The total number of feet of assessable footage within the dis-
trict is 446,643.47 square feet and is the area on wh;i.ch all assessments will
be calculated.
Section 4
That any and all construction distr;i.cts w.~thin the same boundaries and
serving the same area are hereby declared abandoned and terminated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, at
a regular session held thereof on the 6th day of September 1983.

I, Robin L. Sullivan, Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 2479 was published by title and
number in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in said City, in the issue dated the 11th day of September 1983,
and due proof of such publication is on file in my office.
