COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2467
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN , MONTANA, DECLARING ITS I NTENTION TO EX-
CEED THE CERTIFIED MILL LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR
1983-84.
WHEREAS, Section 15-10-204, M.C.A., 1981, requires that a Resolution
stating the Commission's intent to exceed the certified mill levy be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the taxable valuation of properties located within the corporate
limits of the City of Bozeman has decreased for two consecutive years; and
WHEREAS, actions of the State Legislature have reduced the revenues
from sources other than property taxes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
Declaration of Intention
It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman to exceed the certified mill levy for Fiscal Year 1983-84.
Section 2
Notice
That the Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozeman is hereby direct-
ed to publish notice of adoption of this Resolution once in a daily newspaper of
general circulating in the City of Bozeman, which notice shall state the time and
place at which objections will be heard.
Section 3
Time for Objections
That the regular session of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
to be held on the Commission Room in the City Hall Bui Iding, Bozeman, Montana,
on Monday, the 1 st day of August 1983, at the hour of 4: 00 o'clock p. m. of said
day, is the time and place where and when the City Commission will hear all com-
ments and explain the reasons for its intention to exceed the certified mill levy.

CITY COMMISSION TO EXCEED THE CERTIFIED MILL LEVY
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-84.
Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of July
1983, at the
regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, the said
City Commission duly and regularly passed and adopted Commission Resolution No.
2467 , entitled:
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2467
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO EX-
CEED THE CERTIFIED MILL LEVY FOR FISCAL YEAR
1983-84.
Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 1st day of August 1983, at 4:00
olclock p.m. at the Commission Room in the City Hall Building, Bozeman, Montana,
is designated as the time and place for the City Commission to hear comments re-
garding, and to explain the reasons for, its intention to exceed the certified mill
levy for Fiscal Year 1983-84.
