COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2466
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
REVISI NG CEMETERY FEES.
WHEREAS, the Bozeman City Commission on March 27, 1931, did enact
Ordinance No. 604, providing for the management and control of Sunset Hills
Cemetery; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance is currently codified at Chapter 2.76 of the
Bozeman Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, said Chapter authorizes the Board of Trustees to provide for
fees to be established for sale of cemetery lots and other activities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees reviewed current fees and approved a
revised schedule of fees on June 15, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has received the revised schedule of fees
and desires to acknowledge and affirm the schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Sect ion 1
The following schedule of fees shall be effective for sale of cemetery lots
and other activities as of September 1, 1983:
Description

Perpetual Care of Lot
Monument Setting Permit
Lowering Device Rental
Opening and Closing of Grave--weekdays
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Opening and Closing of Graves--Saturdays
and Holidays
Burial of Ashes--weekdays
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Burial of Ashes--Saturdays
and Holidays

Pursuant to Section 2.76.060 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the
Director of Finance shall receive and have the custody of all cemetery monies.
