A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN RATIFYING CASH BALANCES
IN ALL FUNDS AS OF JUNE 30, 1982, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A HISTORICAL
ACCOUNTING BASE FOR FUTURE FINANCIAL REPORTING.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman seeks to establish a
historical accounting base for the enhancement of financial
reporting in future years; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish and ratify cash
account balances in all funds as of a certain date in order
to provide this base; and
WHEREAS, the current independent auditors have verified
the total cash balance of all City funds as of June 30, 1982;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman, Montana:
That cash balances as contained in the audit report
issued by the firm of Coopers & Lybrand, Certified Public
Accountants, (hereto attached) are hereby ratified and
,
established as the historical cash basis for future accounting

periods.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission at a regular
session thereof held on the 6th day of December, 1982.
