COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2401
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOZE!mN DECLARING
IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF BOZE~ffiN
TO SELL CERTAIN SURPLUS ITEMS FROM THE ENGI-
NEERING DIVISION TO A COUNTY OR OTHER POLITICAL
SUBDIVISION WITHIN THE STATE OF MONTANA.
WHEREAS, certain equipment in the Engineering Division
is no longer an asset and is not beneficial to the operation
of the Public Service Department; and
WHEREAS, Section 7-8-101(2), MCA, grants the City of
Bozeman the power to dispose of any property, which is not
necessary for the conduct of the City business, to any
county or political subdivision, without an ordinance,
public notice, publication, bids or appraisal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
of the City of Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That it is hereby declared to be in the best interest
of the City of Bozeman to sell the following surplus items
to a county or other political subdivision within the state
of Montana.
1. Two #551 recording rain and snow gauges,
with eight day clock, 192 hour.
2. One #551 A anchor base.
Section 2
That pursuant to Section 7-8-101, MCA, the Clerk of
the City Commission shall cause notice to be published in
the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, at least once a week for three
(3) successive weeks which notice shall be to the effect
that such resolution has been duly and legally passed and
further expressing the City's intent to dispose of the
items listed in Section 1, in the manner described herein.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular session thereof held on
the 21st day of June, 1982.

NOTICE OF SALE
The City of Bozeman shall sell to any County or
political subdivision the following described personal property:
1. Two No. 551 Recording Rain and Snow Gauges
with 8-day clock, 192 hours
2. One No. 551A Anchor Base
These items of personal property are not necessary for
the conduct of the City.
A copy of this Notice shall be published once per
week for three (3) consecutive weeks and the sale shall be approved
at the regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman on July ~, 1982, which said meeting shall be located
in the City Offices of the City of Bozeman at 411 East Main Street,

Bozeman, Montana. Said meeting shall commence at 4:00 p.m. on
said day.
