COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2391
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN TERMINATING THE CONTRACT FOR LEASE
OF OCTOBER 11, 1950 BETWEEN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN
AND GALLATIN POST NO. 14 OF THE AMERICAN LEGION
DEPARTMENT OF MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
has heard substantial testimony in support of and in opposition to
the continuance of hte ground lease between the City of Bozeman and
Gallatin Post No. 14 of the American Legion Department of Montana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That after consultation with Gallatin Post No. 14 of the
American Legion Department of Montana and with neighbors residing
in the immediate area and with tenants residing therein, the need
for such emergency housing does not continue to exist and that
,
notice to that effect shall be given to Gallatin Post No. 14 of the
"
American Legion Department of Montana sixty (60) days prior to the
28th day of March, 1982.
Section 2
That this Resolution shall constitute written notice
of the City of Bozeman's intention not to renew the previously
mentioned lease.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, this 20th day of January, 1982.
