COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2383
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, ESTABLISHING AND AFFIXING THE NUMBER OF MILLS TO
BE CHARGED AGAINST THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF ALL TAXABLE
PROPERTY SITUATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE JURISDICTIONAL BOUND-
ARIES OF THE CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1981-1982.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 7-6-4407, M.C.A., a resolution must be adopted
by the City Commission in order to determine the amount of the City or Town taxes to be
levied and assessed on the taxable property situated with the City for the current fiscal year;
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the City Commission must certify to the County Clerk a copy
of such resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, as follows:
SECTION 1
That for the purpose of providing and maintaining basic City services, the City Com-
mission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby affix 60.36 mills to be levied for the
All-Purpose General Fund for all salaries, operations and capital expenditures for general gov-
ernment purposes as provided by Section 7-6-4451, M.C.A.
SECTION 2
T hat the City Commission of the City of Bozeman hereby affixes a 2.08 mill levy for
the State-mandated Firefighters Retirement System in order to maintain payments to the State-
administered Firefighters Retirement System in accordance with Section 19-13-606, M.C. A.
SECTION 3
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby affix and
establish a mill levy in the amount of 2.45 mills to provide for City contribution to the State
retirement system for emphyees other than Firefighters and Police Officers, said money to be
paid to the Public Employees' Retirement System (P.E.R.S.). The above-referenced 2.45 mill
levy to be affixed in accordance with Section 19-3-204, M.C.A.
SECTION 4
The City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish and
affix a mill levy in the amount of 2.60 mills to provide funds for Comprehensive Insurance pro-
tection and coverage for the City of Bozeman, Montana. Said mill levy amounting to 2.60
mills is herein affixed in accordance with Section 2-9-212, M.C.A.
SECTION 5
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does herein establish and
affix a mill levy amountin g to 1.86 mills to provide funds for the operation of the Ci ty-Coun ty

Planning activity. Said mill levy amounting to 1. 86 mills is hereby established and affixed in
accordance with Section 76-1-406, M.C.A.
SECTION 6
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish a
mill levy in the amount of 1.13 mills to provide for the principal and interest payments on
outstanding City Hall General Obligation Bonds. Said 1.13 mill levy established herein shall
be affixed in accordance with Section 7-7-4265, M.C.A.
SECTION 7
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish
and affix 3.31 mills to provide for the existing principal and interest payments on outstanding
Recreational Facilities General Obligation Bonds. Said 3.31 mills are hereby established and
affixed in accordance with Section 7-7-4265, M.C.A.
SECTION 8
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish
and affix 2.22 mills to provide for the existing principal and interest payments on outstanding
Senior Center General Obligation Bonds. That the 2.22 mill levy herein established is hereby
affixed in accordance with Section 7-7-4265, M.C.A.
SECTION 9
The City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does herewith establish a
6.04 mill levy to provide for principal and interest payments on outstanding Library General
Obligation Bonds. The 6.04 mill levy established herein is hereby affixed in accordance with
Section 7-7-4265, M.C.A.
SECTION 10
The City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish and affix
6.83 mills to provide the necessary funds for the City to maintain its present employees and
continue services at existing levels, pursuant to an election held on June 3, 1980, at which
time said 6.83 mill issue was duly passed and approved by the electorate of the City of Bozeman,
in accordance with Section 7-6-4431, M.C.A.
SECTION 11
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish a
mill levy in the amount of 5.63 mills to provide for the total City payment of premiums for
Health/Medical Insurance for City employees. Said 5.63 mills to be affixed in accordance with
footnote to Section 11-1024, R.C.M., 1947; Section 2 of Chapter 359, Laws, 1975; Section
7-32-4117, M.C.A.; and Section 7-33-4130, M.C.A.

SECTION 12
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby establish a
mill levy in the amount of 2.00 mills for the purpose of providing revenue for the Special Im-
provement District Revolving Fund. Said 2.00 mills to be affixed in accordance with Sections
7-12-4221 and 7-12-4222, M.C.A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, this
9th day of December 1981.
