COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2361
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, TO
INCREASE RESIDENTIAL GARBAGE RATES AND LANDFILL FEES TO THE RESIDENTS OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND USERS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN'S LANDFILL.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has passed Commission Resolution No. 2353, authorizing
the City of Bozeman to conduct a public hearing to do all things necessary and proper to implement
an increase in residential garbage rates and landfill fees to the residents of the City of Bozeman
and users of the City of Bozeman's landfill; and
WHEREAS, notice of the passage of said CoMmission Resolution No. 2353 was duly published,
as required by law, in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in the City of Bozeman, Montana, and due proof having been made of the publication of
said notices; and
WHEREAS, within the time provided by law and said published and service notice, there was
not sufficient protests against the creation of &aidproposed increases and the City Commission was in
regular session on the 14th day of October 1981, at 1:15 o'clock p.m. of said day, at the Commission
Chamber in the City Hall Building in the said City of Bozeman, Montana, and the same being the time
and place designated in said notice for passing upon all protests, if any, against the proposed
increases; and it further appearing that all of the proceedings for the creation of the said increases
have been lawful and regular;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
Section 1
That all increases in garbage rates and landfill fees will be effective November 1, 1981.
Section 2
That all landfill and garbage collection rates be increased twenty-five percent (25%)
and the following are the old and new rates and increases:

Section 3
The City of Bozeman shall issue half year dump permits to run from January 1, 1982,
through June 30, 1982.
Section 4
The overall effect of the increases is to raise all garbage rates twenty-five percent
(25%) for fiscal year ending June 30, 1982.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session held thereof on the 4th day of November 1981. "
