A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ESTABLISHING AN ECONOMIC
GROWTH POLIcrFOR-TRE -CITY' OF BOZEMAN IN CO~1PLrANCE WITH THE BOZEMAN AREA
MASTER PLAN. ,,'

WHEREAS, The Gallatin Valley offers!tB'icibean environment, outdoor recreation, educational opportunities
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the citizens of Bozeman to preserve our quality of life; and
WHEREAS, change and growth are an inherent characteristic of a healthy community; and

and scenic beauty; and
WHEREAS, new business and industry are welcomed, and the growth of existing commerce is encouraged,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN that it be the pOlicy
of the City of Bozeman to actively support and promote planned economic growth in Bozeman and the Gallatin
Valley, provided that changes resulting from such growth and development complies with the Master Plan
of the City of Bozeman.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it be the policy of the City of Bozeman to support er.onomic growth that
respects the characteristics we value and economic growth that benefits the entire community.
