Modifications

ENGINEER shall perform the following Additional Services:

The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by ENGINEER in accordance with the
Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows:
The addition of a transit stop in front of the parking garage requires that the improvements along the
Mendenhall Street frontage be redesigned. Additional topographic survey information is also
required for the design. Changes in the project also require additional effort in regards to the site
plan submittal. This amendment adds an additional fee of $1 0,000 on a time and material basis to
perform these additional services.

The responsibilities of OWNER are modified as follows:

Design Efforts
Dear James:
Enclosed is a contract amendment for your review for the redesign efforts associated with
adding the transit element to the project. Our efforts will include additional survey work to
determine street elevations for Mendenhall, geometric and drainage design of the revised
sidewalk and bus lane, and associated adjustments to the street lighting and landscape
plan. Also, included is coordination with city staff on the deviations needed for the signal
and garage entrance. Our estimated fee for these services is $10,000.00. We propose to
complete this work on a time and material basis as we have for the grant application work.
Attached is a spreadsheet with an estimate of our required efforts.
One item that is not included in the fee estimate that has been discussed is the work with
the business owners on parking and trash service during construction. Please let me know
if this is something you would like us to do.

matter.
