COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2790
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ESTABLISHING A REVISED LANDFILL FEE
SCHEDULE FOR USERS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN LANDFI LL.
WHEREAS, the Bozeman City Commission did regularly pass Commission
Resolution No. 2519 on the 1 st day of October 1984, which
Resolution estab-
lished a landfill gate fee schedule for users of the City of Bozeman landfill; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman
has been gathering historical data
through use of its scale located at the
landfill , while utilizing the gate
fee
schedule adopted by said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, adequate data has been gathered and reviewed to allow devel-
opment of a landfill gate fee schedule that should provide for more equitable
spreading of costs to users of the landfill.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA:
Section 1. That to defray the cost and expense of operating the City of
Bozeman landfill , there is hereby established a
schedule of fees to be levied
against all users of the landfill, as set forth in Schedule "A" attached.
Section 2. That the rates established herein shall become effective July
1, 1990.
Section 3. That the regular session of the Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, to be held in
the Commission Chamber in the Municipal
Building of said City on the 18th day of June 1990, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., and
the same is hereby designated as the time and place at which objections to the
final adoption of the this Resolution will be heard by said Commission.
Section 4. That the Clerk of the Commission be, and she is hereby or-
dered and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily news-
paper printed and published in said City of Bozeman, a notice signed by the
Clerk of the Commission, stating that a Resolution establishing a revised landfill
fee schedule for users of the City of Bozeman landfill is on file in the office of
the Clerk of Commission subject to inspection for a period of ten ( 10)
days;
that said notice shall state the time and place at which objections will be heard

by the Commission to the final adoption of this Resolution; and that said Notice
shall be published at least ten (10) days before the date set by the Commission
for hearing of objections and the final adoption of this Resolution.
PROVISIONALL Y PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular and stated session thereof held on the
14th day of May 1990.

HEARl NG, FINAL ADOPTION OF COMMISSION RESOLUTION
NO.
2790, ESTABLISHING A REVISED LANDFILL FEE SCHEDULE FOR
USERS OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN LANDFILL.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular session of the Commission
of the City of Bozeman held on the 14th day of May 1990, Commission Resolution
No. 2790 was provisionally passed and adopted; that said Resolution establishes
a revised landfill fee schedule for users of the City of Bozeman Landfill.
That said Commission Resolution No. 2790 is now on file in the office of
the Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozeman, subject to inspection of all
persons interested, for a period of ten (10) days; that Monday the 18th day of
June 1990, at 7:00 p.m. of said day at a regular session of the Commission of
the City of Bozeman, in the Commission Room, in the City Hall
Building, has
been designated as the time and place
when and where sa id Comm iss ion wi"
hear and pass upon any and all objections that may be made to the final pas-
sage and adoption of said Commission Resolution No. 2790 and the establishment
of said schedule; and that said Resolution will be finally passed and adopted at
said regular session of said Commission, subject to such corrections and amend-
ments that may be made upon objections made and fi led with the Clerk of the
Commission within ten (10) days limit as provided by law.
