COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2800
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ESTABLISHING RATES FOR
SEWER
RENTAL CHARGES FOR THE CITY OF BOZEMAN.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman has establ ished a
new Rate Schedule for the City of Bozeman's Sewer Department; and
WHEREAS, the new rates for sewer rental service shall become effective
for that billing period which will first appear on the July 1, 1990 billing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, as follows, to wit:
Section
1
Metered Customers

Explanatory note: Each customer shall pay a minimum monthly bill which in-
cludes the monthly charge (a) plus an additional charge (B). For extra
strength waste, a customer shall pay the extra charge (C).

Unmetered Customers
Effective on the July 1, 1990 billing

Billing Procedures
Charges for sewer rental under this schedule shall be made a part of the
current monthly bill for water used, to be shown by separate item on such bill.
Acceptance will not be made of separate payment of either the charge for the
water or the charge for sewer rental. Both charges must be paid at one and
the same time.
Charges for water used and for sewer rentals become due and payble on
the first day of each month. If any bill is not paid on or before the fifteenth
day of that month, it will then become del inquent; and if not paid
in full by
the fifteenth of the following mon th , water
service to the premises involved
shall be discontinued. A charge of
fi fteen dollars ($15.00) during regular
business hours or thirty-five dollars ($35.00) during non-business hours shall
be made for reinstating a water service
which has been discontinued for
nonpayment of water and sewer rental charges.
Section 4
Protests
In cases where sewer rentals under
this schedule are claimed to
be
unfair, unreasonable or not in proportion
to charges made to other sewer

users, the person or persons against whom such charges are made may apply to .

the City Manager for an adjustment, stating the
circumstances, and the
City
Manager may make such adjustment of
such sewer rental rate as is
deemed
necessary, fair and equitable.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, at a regular session thereof held on the 25th day of June 1990; and
effective for that billing period which
will first appear on the July
1 , 1990
sewer billing.
