One Local Contractor. Bozeman Site Services, LLC | City of Bozeman Statement of Qualifications Letter of Interest Dear Evaluation Committee, Bozeman Site Services, LLC (BSS) respectfully submits this Statement of Qualifications in response to the City of Bozeman Parks and Recreation Department's Request for Qualifications for Contractors - All Trades and Services. BSS is a full-service site management contractor headquartered in Belgrade, Montana, with approximately 18 years of experience serving Bozeman and the greater Gallatin Valley. We provide grounds maintenance, irrigation, vegetation management, plant health care, landscape enhancements, tree and shrub maintenance, native-area maintenance, snow and ice management, and related exterior property services. BSS has direct experience working on City of Bozeman properties, including bed beautification at Story Mansion, multiple mowings and fertilizer applications at City parks, and ongoing landscape-bed maintenance at Children's Memorial Park, Gran Cielo, Sacagawea Park, and Story Mansion. We also provide comprehensive site maintenance services at more than seven Montana State University locations in the campus area. Our established local workforce, specialized service divisions, commercial equipment, centralized operations, and in-house fleet support allow us to respond efficiently to both planned projects and time-sensitive needs. We appreciate the opportunity to continue supporting the City of Bozeman. Sincerely, Michael Hill Director of Operations Bozeman Site Services, LLC 1. Company Qualifications & Local Experience BSS has served the Gallatin Valley for approximately 18 years and operates as an established year-round site management contractor. Our Belgrade headquarters provides immediate access to Bozeman and City owned facilities throughout the area. Multiple Services. One Local Contractor. BSS's primary advantage is the ability to coordinate and self-perform a broad range of grounds, landscape, irrigation, vegetation-management, plant-health, enhancement, and seasonal exterior services through one established local contractor. This breadth of capability allows the City to use one contractor for complementary exterior services while reducing the need to coordinate multiple vendors. BSS self-performs a significant portion of work within our areas of expertise using our own personnel, vehicles, and equipment. Strengths & Limitations BSS's strengths are our established local workforce, broad self-performed exterior-service capabilities, commercial equipment, centralized management systems, and ability to coordinate multiple service disciplines through one contractor. We focus on the services identified in this proposal and do not represent major structural construction, electrical contracting, or professional engineering as in-house capabilities. City task orders are assigned to appropriately trained personnel based on scope, including licensed commercial pesticide applicators and irrigation technicians when required. This operating volume demonstrates our ability to coordinate recurring and as-needed work while maintaining scheduling, documentation, communication, and management oversight. BSS maintains sufficient staffing, equipment, and management capacity to support additional City task orders while continuing to meet existing commitments. Financial & Operational Stability BSS is an established year-round contractor generating annual revenue in the mid-millions. This financial and operational stability allows us to support labor, materials, equipment, and mobilization requirements for projects of varying size and complexity and to adapt as customer demands change. 5. Project Delivery, Technology & Quality Control City requests are reviewed by management for scope, site conditions, labor, materials, equipment, schedule, and safety requirements. Work is then assigned to the appropriate service division or project crew. When necessary, BSS performs a site assessment and provides an estimate or scope for authorization before work begins. BSS utilizes Aspire Landscape Software to support scheduling, service-specific time tracking, work tickets, operational and site notes, service photographs, issue reporting, service history, production tracking, and job-cost visibility. This gives management real-time visibility into labor hours and resource utilization, helping BSS monitor individual projects against anticipated labor, schedule, and budget requirements while maintaining follow-up documentation and accountability. *See appendix B for reference photos* BSS utilizes Samsara for GPS-based fleet and vehicle monitoring, driver-safety safeguards, and live and recorded two- way monitoring capabilities. *See appendix B for reference photos* BSS utilizes PropertyIntel for property mapping, site measurement, and project overviews. PropertyIntel allows our team to develop accurate site maps and measurements for turf, landscape beds, native areas, and other service zones. Its integration with Aspire helps transfer property data into our estimating and operational systems, supporting consistent measurements, accurate bidding, and clearly defined service areas before work begins. *See appendix B for reference photos* If field conditions create work outside an authorized scope, BSS communicates those conditions to the City's designated representative before proceeding with additional work requiring authorization. 6. Present & Projected Workload, Schedule & Budget Capacity BSS's current and anticipated workload leaves capacity for additional City task orders. Each request is evaluated promptly against scope, required completion date, material availability, weather, and existing commitments. BSS will communicate any anticipated scheduling constraint before accepting a task order rather than overcommitting resources. For budget control, BSS establishes the authorized scope and pricing method before work begins and uses centralized job-costing and production data to monitor labor and resource utilization. Conditions that may affect cost or schedule are communicated before additional work proceeds. 7. Safety & Compliance • Fleet safety and accountability supported by GPS-based vehicle and driver monitoring • Employee safety training, equipment-operation standards, PPE, and equipment inspections • Vehicle, fleet, and jobsite accountability and incident-reporting procedures • Public, pedestrian, and traffic safety practices, including cones/signage when appropriate • Applicable Montana commercial pesticide applicator licensing for regulated vegetation-management activities Our crews routinely work around occupied properties and public spaces and understand the importance of protecting pedestrians, vehicles, children, pets, neighboring properties, and public infrastructure. 8. Required Disclosures Claims Bozeman Site Services has not been assessed or required to pay liquidated damages following completion of a project with a public owner during the past ten years. Bozeman Site Services, LLC | City of Bozeman Statement of Qualifications Generative Artificial Intelligence Disclosure BSS does not anticipate using Generative Artificial Intelligence to perform field services or operational deliverables. If a future task order presents a potential use, BSS will disclose it to the City and comply with applicable requirements.
