Re: Request for Qualifications - Contractors - All Trades and Services - Parks & Recreation Department
Dear Selection Committee:
Rauser Builders, LLC respectfully submits this Statement of Qualifications to be considered for the City of Bozeman's
contractor call list supporting the Parks & Recreation Department and other City departments as applicable. We understand
that the City of Bozeman is seeking a dependable pool of qualified contractors capable of responding to projects of varying
size and scope, including repairs, renovations, alterations, site work, infrastructure work, and other construction services on
an as-needed basis.
Rauser Builders is a Belgrade, MT based general contractor with capabilities spanning civil construction, commercial
construction, and residential construction. For municipal work, we provide proven means and methods capable of providing
exemplary outcomes that matter to the City of Bozeman: safe and orderly jobsites, predictable communication, quality
construction, transparency, responsible cost control, and respect for the public facilities and spaces in which we work.
Our Civil Construction Division self-performs critical site and infrastructure work, including earthwork, excavation, grading,
utilities, and site preparation. Our commercial and building capabilities allow us to complement that work with carpentry,
building repairs, window and door replacements, renovations, additions, accessibility improvements, and related
construction. This combination is particularly well suited to the City of Bozeman’s Parks & Recreation project portfolio,
where projects can move between site infrastructure and vertical improvements within the same facility or park
environment.
We also understand the importance of a local contractor for small, time-sensitive, and emergent municipal work. Our
Belgrade office provides immediate access to the Bozeman and surrounding communities, while our broader Montana
experience gives us the field organization and equipment resources to respond when project conditions require more than
routine execution and performance.
Rauser Builders is prepared to enter a term contract at prenegotiated rates and respond to task orders up to the stated
$79,999 maximum individual project value. We have reviewed the RFQ requirements and Appendix B agreement
framework and are prepared to comply with applicable City of Bozeman requirements, Montana laws, permitting, safety,
workers' compensation, insurance, nondiscrimination, equal pay, accessibility, and reporting requirements.
We appreciate the opportunity to be considered and look forward to supporting the City of Bozeman in maintaining and
improving public facilities, parks, recreation assets, and community infrastructure.
Respectfully,
Brian Rauser

2. FIRM INFORMATION
2.1 Experience and Capacity
Rauser Builders is a Belgrade-based general contractor serving the Gallatin Valley and greater Montana region. Our work
includes civil, commercial, residential, and multi-family construction. The firm's Civil Construction Division provides self-
performed site and infrastructure capability, while the commercial and residential division of the business provide a broad
building skill set.
For the City of Bozeman, that experience matters because Parks & Recreation projects are not limited to a single
construction discipline. A task order may involve excavation and utility work, concrete and site restoration, building repair,
carpentry, accessibility modifications, or coordination among several trades. Our operating model is intended to keep those
scopes coordinated with one experience and responsible general contractor.

7. PUBLIC OWNER & CITY OF BOZEMAN EXPERIENCE
Rauser Builders leadership team has pursued and performed work in Montana public and institutional environments and
understands that public work requires disciplined documentation, transparent communication, compliance with
procurement requirements, and respect for public funding and public access.
Recent Public-Owner Example: City of Livingston Fire Station Improvements
In 2026, the City of Livingston awarded Rauser Builders a contract for improvements to the fire station living quarters. The
project was publicly procured, and the City identified Rauser Builders as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The
awarded contract amount was $84,989, with the project addressing additional restroom and bedroom accommodations for
firefighters. This example demonstrates experience working with a Montana municipal owner on a targeted improvement
project where responsiveness, coordination, continued operation during construction, and cost control are important.
