Hi! My name is Roger Fischer. I have lived in Bozeman since 2007 and am faculty with
Gallatin College. Douglas Fischer wrote a very thoughtful column about the needs of ourgrowing community and asked for input. My primary concern is the lack of affordable
housing. According to the City of Bozeman commuter flow map from 2022, approximately23,000 people who work in the city do not live here. This is unsustainable for a community
and it's clearly a function of skyrocketing housing costs. I would gladly pay more if it meantthat more people could afford to live in the community that they spend so much of their time
working in.
