HomeMy WebLinkAbout26 - Task Orders Order Number Unknown - Cushing Terrell for Architectural and Engineering Servi - Fowler Neighborhood Community Engagement Task Order Number # 05 City of Bozeman Urban Renewal District Term Contract PROJECT: Professional Design Services for the Fowler Neighborhood Community Engagement Issued under the authority of Urban Renewal District Term Contract Professional Services Agreement with Cushing Terrell for Architectural and Engineering Services. This Task Order is dated August 5th, 2026, between the City of Bozeman and Cushing Terrell. The following representatives have been designated for the work performed under this Task Order: City: David Fine, Economic Development Director Contractor: Alex Russell, Principal SCOPE OF WORK: Cushing Terrell will provide architectural and site planning services for the City of Bozeman “Turnrow” site to study two site concepts that comply with the current zoning. The anticipated program is to provide town homes that meet zoning requirements. The conceptual design will be based off the current masterplan documents provided to Cushing Terrell. Architecture: • Two conceptual site plans with massing studies for town homes, unit quantities, and overall square footages for each town home. • Precedent images for what the town homes will look like on the site. Site Planning: • Conceptual site layout showing roadways, parking, landscape/common areas, and overall site program. COMPENSATION: Cushing Terrell will bill for its services on a lump sum fee of $24,500 and Reimbursables billed as incurred estimated at $0. Cushing Terrell shall submit invoices to the City of Bozeman for work accomplished during each calendar month. The amount of each monthly invoice shall be determined on the percentage of fee spent for the month of services. Monthly invoices shall include, separately listed, any charges for services for which time charges and/or unit costs shall apply. The provisions of the Professional Services Agreement govern the Work. SCOPE OF SERVICES Architecture: • Two conceptual site plans with massing studies for town homes, unit quantities, and overall square footages for each town home. • Precedent images for what the town homes will look like on the site. COMPENSATION PROPOSAL Basic Services Architecture and Site Planning $24,500 Total Services Hourly Estimated at $24,500 The estimated fee is based on program and information provided to Cushing Terrell. These fees are subject to change if the scope of the project changes. Hourly work will be billed at Cushing Terrell’s standard hourly rates for the year in which the time is expended. REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES Reimbursable expenses include travel (airfare, auto rental, mileage/fuel, lodging, and meals), printing, copying, permitting fees, and postage, and will be billed as incurred at cost plus 5%. Legal fees incurred as a result of modifying a standard AIA contract or using Owner provided agreements will be billed as a reimbursable expense to the project. This proposal is based upon prompt Owner review of and response to the submittals as shown above. The Owner acknowledges that Owner-generated changes in the schedule of the project may result in modifications of the associated professional fees.
